Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Committee focuses on the development and implementation of the community service calendar and events. This committee serves to recruit volunteers to address the economic, education, cultural, and health needs of the community.
Economic Empowerment
The Economic Empowerment committee offers financial literacy and community economic empowerment programs designed to meet the needs of their members and local constituents.

The Health Committee is focused on improving the quality of life of individuals through good health, sound mind, and sense of spirituality. This committee provides ULGDYP with education, resources, and activities conducive to the well-being of its members and the members of the community it serves.

The Membership & Social Committee develops and implements activities to help encourage, welcome, and nurture members. To continue the growth of the organization, the committee is looking for energetic individuals to assist with recruitment during YP sponsored or non-sponsored events.
The Opportunity Compact
The Opportunity Compact is a comprehensive set of principles and policy recommendations set forth by the National Urban League (NUL) designed to empower all Americans to be full participants in the economic and social mainstream of this nation.
Political Activism
The Political Activism Committee ensures that ULGDYP members are aware of current events surrounding politics; and attempts to stimulate participation in the political process.

This committee is here to provide a vehicle for our membership to enhance their business and professional skills. We are always seeking new members. As a team, we play to win!
